Description
Newell’s BG-E8 is a high quality, fully functional replacement for Canon’s grip. It is distinguished by precise workmanship, perfectly matched center of gravity and profile that provides the highest comfort while working with the camera. It holds securely in your hand especially when using large lenses or taking pictures in vertical position. It has a comfortable rubber finish on all sides in contact with your hand.
Capable of using one or two LP-E8 batteries. Alternatively, AA batteries can be inserted into the grip using a special case (included). Using a Ni-MH battery pack provides better camera performance in cold temperatures and emergency power when a charger is not available.
Newell BG-E8 has all the features known from the original Canon grip: two-position shutter button, setting dial, AF lock / EF / thumbnail / zoom button and AF field selection / zoom button). Its underside also features a thread for attaching the camera to a tripod and a place to attach a wrist strap.
