Grip has the full functionality of the original grip Canon BG-E14. It is equipped with a two-position shutter button, on/off switch, setting wheel, and a set of function buttons. Pressing the shutter button lightly allows you to focus, pressing it all the way down triggers the shutter – just like on the camera itself.
The camera can be powered by a choice of one or two LP-E6 batteries. By using two batteries, you can combine cells from different manufacturers and with different capacities. The camera will then draw power first from one battery and then from the other. The kit also includes an adapter/cage designed to use 6 AA-type batteries or rechargeable batteries.
The shape and design of the device have been chosen to provide the greatest comfort while shooting both horizontally and vertically. The handle is covered with a durable and nice-to-touch rubber material, which provides a comfortable and very secure grip. On its underside there is also a thread for attaching the camera to a tripod and a belt clip.
Grip allows you to better hold the camera, improves the comfort of use when shooting vertically and allows you to increase the number of shots possible with one set of batteries. It is equipped with a place to insert the battery flap and an additional clip for a belt.
