Newell MB-D17 is a rugged, full-featured battery pack for Nikon D500 cameras.
The grip allows you to hold the camera better, improves handling comfort when shooting vertically, and extends the operating time without having to replace the batteries in the camera.
Robust construction and the highest quality materials used in the production of the grip mean that the product will last for years. The grip has been contoured to provide the greatest comfort while shooting both horizontally and vertically. The grip has been covered with a durable and nice-to-touch rubber material for a comfortable and secure grip.
Newell MB-D17 allows you to install an additional EN-EL15 rechargeable battery, or eight AA batteries/batteries. Using additional rechargeable batteries extends the operating time without having to replace them. On the underside of the grip is a 1/4″ female mount, allowing the use of a photo tripod without removing the grip from the camera. The battery pack is compatible with Nikon system batteries, Newell batteries and replacements from other manufacturers.
The grip has the full functionality of the Nikon MB-D17 system container. It is equipped with a two-stage shutter button, on/off switch, AF-ON button, function button and two setting wheels. Pressing the shutter button lightly allows you to focus, pressing it all the way down triggers the shutter analogous to the button on the camera itself.
